    Today I found this article saying that Microsoft plans to have HTML5 and JavaScript as the main development languages for Windows 8: http://bit.ly/jCLvum
    If that's true, I'm a bit disappointed.. I imagine Windows 8 will still be able to run current Windows apps, but I think HTML5 and JavaScript would make it more difficult and time-consuming to develop software; I don't think HTML5 and JavaScript are as robust as other languages (C#, C++, etc., etc.), and the tools available for developing with HTML5 and JavaScript aren't as good as
    with other languages.
