Luckilly my work has a static IP, but for everything else I've setup portknocking so I can open a port up if I'm visiting my folks or tethering from my cell. It's a pretty elegant solution.

I've been wanting to setup wireguard and pihole, so will likely go that
route and not open anything else. I do have dyndns setup already, so
should be easy enough to get those two working together.
