    Gamers.

I've been waiting since Jan 10th of 2013. The game is everything I wanted, even running on low settings at 720p at substandard frame rates. I still love every second of it. I have been playing the table top RPGs since Highschool, and have been in love with the lore and setting of this world much more then many.

It's a god damn shame Sony is refunding people for the game and taking it off their store. The Witcher III was like that on launch and everyone and their grandmother loved that game ultimately. This is exactly the kind of EuroSlav jank we should have expected, but Gamers are short sighted and so are the companies investors and profit margins.

I feel for Mike and R Talsorian, but ultimately I don't care what the wider world thinks. This is a game that feels like it was loving crafted for me, especially. And if it's not someone elses game that doesn't matter to me. This one can be mine.

I have Cyberpunk 2077 too though I haven't had much time to really get into it due to the build up to the festive period. I have great first impressions in relation to the graphics, character models, story, dialogue and motion captured animations. I have the game running at 1080p ultra on my gaming laptop equipped with a GTX1080 which isn't impressive by 2020 standards. It's running very well though and I am able to maintain a frame rate considerably north of 30.

The Witcher 3 is one of my favourite games so my expectations of a futuristic sci-fi version of that game were met. The interface, inventory management, quest design and gameplay loop are identical so it was nice to jump back into something rather familiar.

I also saw that Sony pulled the game from their online store in the meantime due to it running poorly on base PS4s. It's a shame because it doesn't look like the game is ready on those consoles, it's looking rough and lacking a lot of optimisation. The next-gen quality level of graphics are clearly too much for the 2013 console... they should have just released it on the PC on the 10th prior to a general console release sometime in Q1/Q2 2021 patched and ready and they would have avoided all the scandal.

I am loving the game though and I can't wait to dive back into Night City!

I never could get into the Witcher games, despite owning all three. I may have to give them a chance again after finishing Cyberpunk.

They're very good games. I skipped TW2 though so I can't say I am fanatical about the franchise. TW3 is incredible though... it probably has the most engaging and well written story in a video game, I can't think of anything that comes close. I had some time off work there so I was able to blast through and complete Cyberpunk last night. I finished the main campaign along with the side missions, skipping all the Ubisoft fetch quest style gigs. I would say it's right up there with titles like RDR2 and TW3... it needs a bit of work done to it to smooth of the roughness, but it's going to eventually be viewed as a modern classic.
