Yes, there's people like that over here. A lot don't want to
do the work. I've had so many guys look at me and say "You look
great! (especially for 52), wish I was like that", but they
lose interest when I tell them the training regime behind it.

Ah.. but you need to qualify your answer that your training is
for the sake of achieving your sprinting goals.

Perhaps you can encourage people in ways that they can start a
road to better health with emphasising the food choices you are
    making.

Neither path is truly easy, though the dietary one is the easier one for most. My point is people are all interested, until they find out what it takes. And looks for me are metely a (nice) side effect.

I've actually encouraged a number of people to improve their diet and take up something active (like walking). Those who did (and are keeping it up) are enjoying the benefits. :) One friend took up walking a year or bit more ago. I've known him for decades, but bumped into him at a Parkrun, which is a social 5k walk/run that is held every Saturday morning at thousands of locations around the world.

Anyway, as he complained of being a little overweight, I helped him change his diet (desserts were his weakness), and he got serious with walking. We've also done a few hikes around the local area together. He's very happy with what he can do now - some of our faster walks and longer hikes would have been very difficult for him a year ago. His next goal is to run an entire 5k without stopping to walk, sometime around Easter.

... All true wisdom is found in taglines. :)
