I'm years behind here, but I thought the reason we still come to BBSes other than nostalgia is because it was free from scammers and the nonsense found on social media we've all been forced to endure since microcomputing went full-on hardcore after AOL and Windows 95 shoved the "Internet" down every household in the civilized world? LOL
