I always wonder at the recording artists who think that because people
like to listen to their music, people should agree with their political
    views.

Bruce Springsteen apparently thinks that his US is being taken over by traitors. And president Trump is the biggest traitor of all. He espoused
his political views in England and asked them all to join with him in
his hatred of America's political leader.

I'm thinking maybe sir Bruce should stay in England, France or Germany
since he apparently thinks that their forms of government are so much
better thank his good old US of A.

What a complete ass. I wonder if he knows that the majority of Americans
voted for this president and his policies. Bruce basically spit in the
eye of Americans with his political rant.

He's got a right to his opinion, but people who live in glass houses
should not throw stones. This may come back to bite him where it hurts.
Guess he figures since he doesn't have to be popular anymore, why not
call the majority of Americans traitors.

The media does it every single day. Sunny Hostin, David Muir, Elmo from Sesame Street, the entire media. Bruce is just one of them.

And you're right. They're all spitting in the faces of the majority of America. It seems like popularity points among the other "entertainers" is more important to them than having respect from the majority of Americans.

I really don't understand why these people put politics into their entertainment. It drives off buyers one way or another. It's like their are trying to commit career suicide.

yeah, how DARE someone like Tom Morello write "F*** TRUMP" on the back of his guitar! He's no political expert, he's just a musician!

To quote Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, when someone called him out on it:

"One does not have to be an honors grad in political science from Harvard University to recognize the unethical and inhumane nature of this administration but well, I happen to be an honors grad in political science from Harvard University so I can confirm that for you"

It remeninds me when Paul Ryan (Former speaker of House, and failed GOP VP candidate) mentioned RATM was one of his favorite bands. Tom pointed out that he was literally the machine they've been raging against for the last 20 years.

Music has always been political. Punk is an entire genre of music that's purely political. Bands like U2 are incredibly political. lots of early hip-hop artists were political (you think NWA did "F*** The Police" because it was "edgy"?)

Even The Beatles were political with themes on social and cultural viewes, peace, racism and religion. "Come Together" was written as a campaign song for Timothy Leary when he ran for Governor of California in 1969.

I don't hear you complaining about Ted Nugent, Kid Rock, Lee Greenwood, Jason Aldean, or the Village People spouting off about their political views. Why is that?

Did he ever write "F*** OBAMA", or "F*** BIDEN" on the back of his guitar, by chance? I assumed the whole RATM mantra was completely against government corruption as a whole.

"One does not have to be an honors grad in political science from

These two paragraphs kind of contradict each other. If they've been raging for the last 20 years against the "machine", both parties have been involved and running the show during that time frame (even moreso the left, which is why I asked the question above). I'm sure he has realized the unethical and inhumane nature of every administration at some point. But he made a point to write "F*** TRUMP" on his guitar. I imagine this is why their fanbase questioned him on it (most of them probably thought the same as I did above, as to what they were really raging against). Or was it always known that he only raged against one side of politics?

Mind you, this is the first time I've heard about this (I don't follow musicians' personal lives or their political beliefs), so for this band specifically, those were my first thoughts/questions on the matter.

    Regards,
    Nick

Probably because they don't go to other countries and ask them to join
in the TDS club. Or it could be that they don't shout out 'death to all
who oppose liberalism'. There's a difference in spouting off about
their political views and asking for assistance in taking down the
    sitting elected president.

Bruce Springsteen is a complete ass. When he opens his mouth about
'this is not his America, his breath stinks pretty bad. I think he
should stay in Europe as it suits his politics more succinctly. His
opinion doesn't matter any more than any other citizen, with the
exception of his own deranged mind. So he should not try to represent
Americans while singing songs in another country.

I don't see Ted Nugent, Kid Rock, Lee Greenwood or the rest doing that.

    Have a wonderful day.

What stands out is that those guys were out to praise Trump and not necessarily to trash Biden. That's totally different from how the left and their monkeys operate.
