    This echo allows ANSI. Are you saying his screen didn't display correctly?

    Sorry, didn't realise that ANSI was permitted. I'm so used to posting/reading everything in ASCII in timEd I forgot completely about off-line readers like SLMR and its kin. I'll try downloading it in a message bundle and try setting up SLMR in Windows and see.
