Hello Wayne,
America's favorite Canadian has died.
George Alexander Trebek, of Sudbury, Ontario.
Best known as Alex Trebek, host of "Jeopardy!"
Was this the show that launched that three-door game that the player had to choose a door hoping to win a prize and the host would then open a non-prize door? That was fun!
That show was "Let's Make a Deal", hosted by Monty Hall.
A Canadian who passed away in 2017.
The contestant got to choose one of three doors, in which only
one of the doors had a prize. Then Monty would open one of the doors
that did not contain a prize and give the contestant an opportunity
to change his/her original selection. Which presented a problem.
Would the contestant be better off by keeping his/her original
selection, or switch to the other door?
Even folks with PhD's had a difficult time solving the Monty Hall
problem. But for those who want the answer, here it is -

Dead at age 80. May he RIP.
May he does.
Getting tormented in hell forever for not asking the right question
is the other possibility ...
