Well, at least you have good taste in music, which might offset some of
    your other flaws.

Gilmour's guitar solo on 'Comfortably Numb' (from The Wall album) is the
best I've ever heard. I particularly like the version he did live in
Pompeii in 2016, at the age of *70*...

    On Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHKG7EMxWW8

(the actual guitar solo starts at the 4:28 point).

I have that bookmarked and watch it frequently. One thing I also love
about this video are the expressions of pure joy by the drummer, as he
    plays with the best ever.

    You're welcome. ;-)

Then you have watched their one and only reunion in 2008 where Gilmour solo-ed on 'Comfortably Numb' which made the hairs on my arms and my back stand up. Plus the knowledge it was their last ever live performance.

I saw his Pompeii-concert live on a big screen cinema, it was broadcast live worldwide...

    Doesn't get any better ...

Yes, I've seen it, and just re-watched it. It's great of course, but I actually think I prefer the Pompeii version. It was longer, and seemed "cleaner" and less rushed, somehow. Honestly, I have to say that the supporting cast in Pompeii was probably better than the original band
members, at least at that stage of their lives. Waters in particular
seemed (in 2008) to be well past his peak.

Wish I would have known it was on, would have tried to catch it too.

I just knew we could agree on something. Glad it was this. ;-)
