    - I've recommended to Vince, that he should enable link redundancy
    - He declined.

    However, Vince seems to be a nice guy.
    He has his reasons to run his system this way and it's not up to me to disclose that here.

    is it's none of our business. He has his reasons (several of them) and

    Vince simply hasn't bought into the idea of the Fidoweb and still thinks the the NAB Star-system ditribution has some value. That feeding from a Star-node positions you more close to the center of the Fido-universe ... which it doesn't. But if that misconception makes him happy and the mail moves ... 'What? Me worry?"

    Some people need to understand that once in a while I do know what I'm talking about. After being 'up' for a short while Janis's system crashed. This is what I got from here:

    I should have the new system set up in a few days... Now that I know I can
    contact people with other email programs like gmail and yahoo mail, I'll be
    taking my system down (again that is... it crashed last night) and I'll
    install postfix and other packages on the new box.
