Here's what I found: http://freshmeat.sourceforge.net/projects/daydreambbs . Trying to download it...but just sits there.

I've gotten a 'good' copy from github Ryan Fantus is maintaining it. He took a break but me and him have been talking on the Araknet daydream channel like daily. He took a break awhile ago and he's helping me set it up. I DO have it running, did SOME modding but have alot more to do. I really like it! looks like Amiga Express. (mine is running at frontierbbs.net:2023)

Because of me Ryan is kinda getting back (close) to doing some upgrades! He's already made a few changes to the code for me. :)

Believe I may have found what you are looking for: www.bbsdocumentary.com/software . Found a copy of the Amiga there.

    For the Linux version: http://www.montereybbs.com/daydream-2.15.0-b6.tar.gz

Not sure how recent this is going to be for you.

I found that too! I found like 3-4 different versions... the older ones from what I was reading had some bugs.

I have heard of it. I have never attempting to use it, though. I used to see a BBS or two advertising that they were running Daydream. Have not noticed that lately.

As far as I know, there's only 2 or 3 running it still. It's REALLY rough around the edges! lol

The 2 BBSes I called did A LOT of modding to get it looking and running good.

    Catch-22 is REALLY nice

He's put A LOT of work into it! I'm surprised it's not more active. :(
