    Is there any tool/script that can detect (and if possible, remove) dupe messages in a messagebase? (JAM, Squish, ...)

    I'll see how easy it is to adapt part of the tg_BBS code for this and, if I succeed, I will definitely publish the result.

    It would be a JAM or an Opus msg base.

    Indeed.

    This could be useful for e.g. checking messagebases with old archives, that may have dupes that weren't detected at that time (dupe checker not enabled back then, or whatever).
