_What in the world is going on with filegate.net's file areas??_

After my system crashed recently, I've had a number of problems getting the file areas "accessible" to all folks in the 'public' again.

I am working on it, but with a new version of Ubuntu, and a new version of apache2, well, things have not been easy to come up with a "quick fix" to allow folks access to filegate files from my web server.

At this point, I've had one author who is not in Fidonet, send me files he wanted me to hatch out send his files via gmail file attach (works well, btw.)

_Thankfully_, people are still getting files via the good old "hatch" method, so thats's something... If you are not, please let me know via fidonet in the filegate message area, or you can contact me via email at jmklou@gmail.com... (yes, my darn email addess using janis@filegate.net with postfix is
'history' pretty much right now).

<sigh>...

I'm not giving up on all of this yet so that's something ... Janis(jmklou@gmail.com)
