Not linux that's the problem. It's doing exactly what it was told to do.

So....... you're replying to a 2-week-old message, and.... a couple of
hours after he posted that it wasn't working, somebody else replied to him
and told him he had fixed it.

    You didn't see that message?

    Dan,

    You didn't see that message?

I seem to remember there's something odd about this echo with messages ending-up in a black hole...

Could be, although not something I have noticed.

Not only this echo. The bug was reported well over a decade ago by a BBS user and every now and then gets 'fixed'. I am sure your anarchistic ftn developers will be on top of this and save us all from doom. :::snicker:::

Over ten years ago I decided not to buy any new stuff that does not support IPv6. I have recently added: "must work in an IPv6 only environmemt". With that in mind I also test websites for IPv6 only readiness.

ftsc.org has passed the test. Congratulations!

I tested this by disabeling IPv4 on the network card of the laptop I use for testing. (Win7)

ftsc.org is hosted on Alexey Vissarionov's server, which actually depends on a tunnel from he.net for IPv6 internet access.

Auww... I overlooked that. So.. what it passed is the test that it functions with clients in an IPv6 only environment. But the server itself obviouslously still depends on IPv4. Food for thought...
