Bad idea because this is a fidonet echo.
So golded did it right without intention. ;-)

You already asked for grouping of echos. Some tosser or msgbase formats can group echos. The EchoArea definition for husky for example use the -g switch to define groups.

The advanced config of golded supports more flexible group definitions within goldeds random system.

    Random System Example

The random system can definine a single echo as a group or create an independend group with attached member echos.

Group FOO ; This group is *only* for the FOO echo.
    Tearline FooED @rev
    Origin "Foo-ing my day away"

    Group FooEchoes:
Member *FOO* ; Use wildcards to catch any other foo echo.
Origin "This is a Foo-lish origin"

One of the allowed keywords for the groups within the random system is AKA.

    Group FSXechoes:
    AKA x:y/z
Member *FSX* ; Use wildcards to catch any other foo echo.
Origin "This is a Foo-lish origin"

A new group keyword ends the group or you can use the endgroup keyword.

    GROUP INTL:
    MEMBER GOLDED
    MEMBER FIDOSOFT.HUSKY
    MEMBER LINUX
    TEMPLATE internat.tpl
    ENDGROUP

Above three echos are added to the intl: group and for all the template internat.tpl is used.

Get the documentation with the goldref.txt and goldusr.txt for detailed information.

    Regards

    Kai
