  • Building on FreeBSD

    Hello All,

    With the help of a friend, I figured out how to build GoldEd under FreeBSD 13.1 using gcc:

    - Modify source/mygolded.h
    - setenv CFLAGS -funsignedchar (or export CFLAGS=-funsignedchar for bash)
    - mkdir build
    - cd build
    - cmake ..
    - gmake -j8

    The personal name scan doesn't work but that's a minor annoyance.

    Not sure how many of you are using FreeBSD but I hope this helps someone.
