Thanks. Will have to give this a try and see what happens. Sad
thing is it happens on a fresh install of the software as well :(

I know - it's the most fragile program I've got!! (apart from Windows itself!)

it was not netscape atleast ?

Hope another viable alternative happens. Im even willing to pay 30-40
    for a decent program.

binkd is gui less, no need to pay

I feel the same way -- I did try binkd, but I'm (apparently) not smart enough to make it work!

did you ask in binkd echomail ?

NLMake is another one that's shaky -- I just had to reboot the machine (windows, of course) and not only did it corrupt the exe, but the
backup exe wouldn't work -- I finally copied a fresh exe from the distrib archive and all is well (for now!).

in that case i think windows needs a backup for fidonet

I am hoping for an alternative to Internet rex. Maybe Intermail 3.0 will happen :)

If someone decides to start development again but I highly doubt it though. They might as well update Frontdoor as well then too to coincide with the times.

Many of the developers are doing it out of goodwill and want to have a good coda to the bbs era, I am open to giving a 25-50 buck donation if the product is kick arse :)
