    Hallo Mike!

    Here is some interesting output captured from the output of bison's ./configure;

checking whether C++ compiler accepts -std=c++98... yes
checking whether C++ compiler accepts -std=c++03... yes
checking whether C++ compiler accepts -std=c++11... yes
checking whether C++ compiler accepts -std=c++14... yes
checking whether C++ compiler accepts -std=c++17... yes
checking whether C++ compiler accepts -std=c++2a... yes
checking whether gcc supports POSIXLY_CORRECT=1... yes
checking whether g++ builds executables that work... yes
checking whether g++ supports POSIXLY_CORRECT=1... yes

    Gotta love it.

    Het leven is goed,
    Maurice

time to port it to Amiga :)

and then update gcc to amiga hardware support, oldest gcc did support m68k but imho not lastest gcc anymore, so hard to do any crosscompile of anything now

    Hey Benny!

    +1

It is now. Got all 3 machines up to speed as of this morning.

time to port it to Amiga :)

Not quite. Send a 64-bit Amiga this way and I'll give it a shot. ;-)

so hard to do any crosscompile of anything now

I'm betting it would be impossible these days. As we speak all I have booting are pure 64-bit x86_64's that would require a crosscompiler to port to 32-bit x86 nevermind Amiga. I put 32-bit x86 to rest back in 2005 and seem to recall us discussing it in this echoarea back then. I have no regrets abandoning both multilib and pure 32-bit systems if the truth be told. Way too much work with zero rewards methinks.

    Life is good,
    Maurice
