For sure. I notice many different sites on the web byting the dust these days. I won't lie and say that I'll miss any of them, including (especially?) fidonet capable ones. Personally I think they should be put out of business. A bunch of blatant crooks methinks.

Here is another tip, using ZSH, you can run a command as a glob qualifier, to only include files where the result returns non-zero.

    For example
    rm *(e:'grep -q cow $REPLY':)

will only delete files which contain the string "cow".

termux can run on virtual qemu, and android aswell, just not much time to use it here, but i hope google would make android more opensource, that include hardware drivers, sadly anyone that can make hardware, can make there own closed source hardware drivers, this is sadly on android, while kernel should really not be depending on hardware brands, i dont belive google did not know that

I don't know much about this stuff. I have an older alcatel phone but it works well for me. It's an android.

We also have a android tablet. I don't use it at all, I stick to my desktop mostly.

i have now huawei matepad pro with can sms, and make phonecalls, even without google apps, eq it does not have google :)

I haven't heard of that before so I looked it up. I like the keyboard that comes with that, I might be able to use something like that. I don't have a good impression of huawei however.

    Hey Benny!

    not including facebook

They were down not that long ago. I heard a claim they lost hundreds of millions in lost business. Beats me what anyone values in that particular cesspool.

i miss instagram from the time it was not owned by facebook

That is the usual story. Remember what happened to Nokia when MS bought them out?

can make there own closed source hardware drivers

And then lock the user out but allow access to shady web based businesses such as the Google App Store. Funny how that works eh?

Ahh, with ZSH you can do this with

    ls **/*(.Lm+1)

or to run any command on those files
    chown user.user **/*(.Lm+1)
Change user and group to "user" for any file in this directory tree over 1M

But here is another, works with bash and zsh.

Lets day you run a command, and you want to reuse the last parameter
    for example you type
    ls /home/user/documents/file/path/this_is_a_text_file.txt
now you want to delete it, so instead of typing the path again, or hitting up arrow and changing "ls" to "rm", you can just use "ALT-." to bring up the last parameter.

Type rm, then alt-., and the last parameter from the last command, in this example the long path and filename, will be inserted.
