• if you don't get to the store fast

    Hello Daryl!

The perfect example is prior to a winter storm in
Arkansas. The joke is that the TV meteorologists will
issue "A Grocery Store Warning"... and if you don't get
to the store fast, you won't find:

    1) A slice of bread (never mind an entire loaf)
    2) A glass of milk (never mind an entire container)
    3) A mug of beer (never mind a whole case)
    4) A sheet of toilet paper (never mind a roll or pack)

    1) 2) 3) I never buy. So, not a problem here. But a whole bunch
    of 4) would be nice.

    ...I'm still too young for a COVID-19 shot (I'll be 61
soon)...but in Arkansas, Governor Asa Hutchinson has said
that "If cases keep declining, the directives will change
to guidelines come April...and if supply permits, shots
will be available to all adult Arkansans by May".

I'm a bit older than you. But I'm in no hurry to get jabbed.
I'll wait until all the sickly people get it first. The current
round of vaxx is ineffective against the variants which is more
    prominent now anyway. :/

    August,

    1) A slice of bread (never mind an entire loaf)
    2) A glass of milk (never mind an entire container)
    3) A mug of beer (never mind a whole case)
    4) A sheet of toilet paper (never mind a roll or pack)

    1) 2) 3) I never buy. So, not a problem here. But a whole bunch
    of 4) would be nice.

For me, I don't get #2 or #3...but get #1 for lunch meat sandwiches.
And, of course, #4 is a necessity...corncobs and catalogs don't work
real well. :P But, I place my "used item" in a small trashcan (and
wash my hands well afterwards), then seal it up when it gets full,
then put it out in the regular trash.

I'm a bit older than you. But I'm in no hurry to get jabbed.

I've heard with the military, you were like in an assembly line.
Roll up the sleeves, and get jabbed in each shoulder.

I'll wait until all the sickly people get it first. The current
round of vaxx is ineffective against the variants which is more
    prominent now anyway. :/

Years ago, there was a local radio DJ in Little Rock, named Brother
Hal Webber (who was known as Brother Hal). The guy who did it was
young by comparison, but it sounded like a folksy old-timer. He had
characters that he talked about in a small country town like Miss
Posie, and her not too bright son, Wallace, among many others.

He mentioned one time that "they had a hemorrhoid so large, that it got caught in the bicycle chain". :P That sounds like Christian comedian Mark Lowery, who didn't know a hemorrhoid from a thyroid...but his neck was
hurting him. He said "My hemorrhoids are hurting badly" (while rubbing
his neck), and a friend said "Well, if it's that high up, no wonder!!" <G>.
