    Howdy! Joe,

I saw the message (below) in the Commodore Echo and my mind(?) began
wandering if You had the manual Lorry wants a copy of.

I thought about You because when You came to my home to return my
extra C=64 and C=1541, You gave me a Floppy Disk Box with some
    5-1/4" Disks in it.

Some of those Disks had WP files on them but I don't have a copy of
the WP PRG You used to write them.

(I even try looking at a few of Your files using the Track and Sector
PRG but that didn't show me any of what You wrote about.)

I can't remember if You used the PFS Write WP PRG or the Write Now WP
being asked about when You wrote Your TEXT Files on the Commodore 64
    You had long ago.

I thought to write You to see if You have the instruction manual the
person is looking for and could be of help.

This is helpful but I'd love to be able to look at the manual. I've looked online and can't find it.

Not sure if this is manual or not, but it sure looks like it.

    https://commodore.bombjack.org/commodore/commodore/ VIC-20_Personal_Computing_Guide.pdf

That site has been my mainstay for finding just about any book on commodore computers.

Its actually a preservation site, that preserves books on many differenet computer related topics and machines. If you have never checked it out, it
    s
definetly worth your time to check it out.

Thanks but unfortunately this is a general manual for the VIC-20 not the
Write Now word processor manual, perhaps I should have been more
specific. However, I agree the bombjack site has some great resources on
it; I've used it a number of times.

    Best wishes

    Lorry

    Nope, sorry.
When I moved up to a PC I gave away my 64 to a former co-worker, that was
    c. 1994, along with all the software, manuals and such.
The disks I had were ones I thought would work with my 286. No idea what
I was thinking of at the time. :)
