Had a dentist once who said before doing dental work on me, "Now just relax. This isn't going to hurt me a bit". :)

I love the story of an 80-year-old woman who went in for dental work.
She laid in the chair, was prepped by the CDA, then the dentist came
over, prepareing to drill, & he stops to say, "Excuse me, Madame, but
you seem to have my testicles in your hand."
She replies, ever so sweetly, "That's right, sonny, & we're not going
to hurt each other, are we?"

No pressure!! <BG>.
I needed that this morning!! <ROFLMBO!!>

What's up?
Have you untagged FUNNY in your reads these days?

LOL.
When I went to a dentist here I asked after some work was done if everything needed to be replaced. "Not unless you want it" he replied.
He became my dentist right then and was until he died several years later.
Dentists seem(ed) to be very protective of their work and wanted each mouth to be their own creation.
He also did a lot of denture work and when I got mine his place did
the work. (He had passed away by then). Never have had a problem with them.

I moved around a lot in my younger days (cross town, across the state, across the country) and when in a new area I would need dental work.
Each time the dentist would examine me and say all the previous dental work had to be removed and start over again. I had bridges, crowns, caps, etc replaced.

George,

Not that I know of...I must have a feed problem somewhere.
The only reason I'm up at this hour, was that severe storms
moved through a bit ago, and I just brought the system back up.
I will be going back to bed after I'm done, and I don't plan
to go out again until later in the week...unless I see something
important in the P.O. Box via the USPS app. With storms forecast
on Wednesday, and rain on Thursday, I likely will stay home both
of those days.
I see you've posted in there now. . . :)
Feed hiccough?
We had some huge winds(60MPH) & rain(6 inches in 36 hours) but I slept through most; my family wasn't so lucky. . . :(
Now it's done & we're backl to the usual south coast/lower valley drear with bits of sun here & there to give us hope & a pittance of Vitamin
D.
Can't be too prepared for infection this time of year, during a
pandemic.
Got a new vet who's not as bad/greedy as the last one, but I still need
to start tightening the chain on him, though. :(
About 10 years after I had the original ones in, I was going to need them re-lined. But, the dentist I was going to wanted well over $1000 to do it.
They fit so perfectly, that I haven't had to use one bit
of PoliGrip, Fixodent, etc. on them.
Yikes! A re-line costs me about $100 or so.
I believe in putting my money where my mouth is. :)
I don't use any either, no need.
Lately, we've gotten "liquid sunshine". :P
I had a telemedicine conference this morning, and they recommended because of hypertension and a high BMI, that I get the booster. But, with 2 clinic visits in mid-November...having to need some prescription refills soon (I may have to wait until Friday to do it, because of storms)...and having to be isolated at home for 2 weeks after the shot...I'm having to work the schedule, as it were.

Maybe you should do to him like the old lady did to her dentist. <G>

Check your vaccine card from the first,m & google the exact variant
name & number you got; mine(Pfizer) says, in the official monograph:
"Do not issue booster--dangerous" (this was after I'd already had
second shot, though *sigh*)
I've survived, plus I need my passport QR code lookup to say "fully vaccinated" for some venues, not "partly vaccinated"(single dose)
Apparently the COVID vaccine causes constipation
When I got mine the other day they told me I had to wait 4 weeks to get number 2.
I want to tell a vaccine joke
But some won't get it
If you and your buddies should all get COVID vaccines and the doses
need to be kept in freezers...
then you're cracking open a cold Bud-Pfizer!
But they encouraged me to immediately return to the vaccination center
to pick up my glasses.
My employer now gives two weeks off to recover from the vaccine.
They call it Modernaty leave.
Facebook has changed their name to Meta -- rumor has it Twitter will change its name to Mucil. So, that means we'll all be on MetaMucil every day. No wonder social media is so crappy. <G>
I carry an extra set in the car, in case the readers I have break.

Was it the breast of situations?? Or were you just milking for time off??
