lather it up then slather onto my face & attack it with the cheapest 2-bladed razors I was able to find at the local dollar stores (basically a gilette ripoff); I use each ojne at least twice. . .

I buy the cheap one blade from the dollar store. I think a 10 or 12 pack
is about one or two dollars.
I only have to shave twice a week, so one razor lasts me about two
    months.

I just got a $4 trimmer c/w 3 combs to set the length.

I use one of those as well. Have had it for more years than I can
    remember.
Two blades in a plastic case I comb though my hair about every six weeks. Those blades are only good for about two trimming, and flip them over for another two cuttings. The length of the hair depends on the angle the "comb" is used.
The use two mirrors to see to trim the back and shave the nape.
Only been to a barber once in about 35 years.
We had a barber college here with low prices and used them all the time. They have been gone for years. I think a hair cut was like $1.25 there.
The last real hair cut was on my trip in Del Rio, TX and it was $20!

$2.00 here now -- sdtill afair deal.

I need to shave daily, if I'm going to keep up with it, if I go a 3rd day, I've pretty much turned the corner & begun growing a beard. . .(I have that most often, as I'm inherently lazy in things that don't give immediate benefit; revealing my chubby cheeks doesn't count in that number)

I have 3 'combs' (I know they have another name -- guards?) & hopefuly I can figure out how to attach them rightly. . .

I have one of those one-handed electric ball shavers for my skull, but my hair grows too thickly even in one day to use it well.

We had same, but farther out, in the big city, $6 for a men's cut, but they don't do men'sa any more (not enough interest, & too few students do that add- on to their hairdressing/beautician course); probably cheaper for seniors, & free if you're selected to be a model (test case for a supervised student donig an exam)

I had that once. Was another private school used to give free cuts (none of that during covid that I can tell); they're he ones that Justin Trudeau always stopped in at when in Vancouver for a $400 cut/style!

I used to advertise that one in my local Freecycle group to get them more 'models.'

Schools don't want me now that I prefer my pate to be utterly nude.
