• Ox Day???

From Ed Vance@1:2320/105 to All on Thursday, February 18, 2021 19:08:00
    Howdy!

Last week I saw a Store Ad about a Valentine sale.

    XO
    XO

was printed on the front page,

    BUT

the top of the Ad was folded down and I saw

    OX
    OX

and it made me think about Oxen instead of Hugs and Kisses.

So February 14th is now Happy Ox Day.

Anyone who has been reading my messages knows I don't have any sense.
The only sense I have is Nonsense.

before I see any (if any) Replies (or Comments) to my thoughts.

    Ed,

So February 14th is now Happy Ox Day.

If the guy forgets the day, does that make him an oxy-moron?? <G>

When it comes to being SANE, I'm with the IN crowd. <G>

I still have power and internet...but as of midday yesterday, there had
been a total of nearly 2 feet of snow in Little Rock...from 2 separate
storms. It got down to -1 here Tuesday morning, and portions of northern Arkansas were near -20. The main electricity I've used is with the central
heat unit (I have LP gas)...and I keep my bedroom (where the shack is)
nice and warm...even if the rest of the house is a bit cool.

I've made up a bunch of lunch meat sandwiches (ham and turkey...I'm such
a cannibal <G>), but it means not using the microwave oven...and no dishes
to wash afterwards (everything's put on paper plates). I heard where Lufkin, Texas literally ran out of water.

All I can say is if the snow and cold weather lovers aren't happy with
what much of the southern Plains, Arklatex, Arklamiss, and MidSouth just endured with snow, ice, and bitter cold (i.e. they want more), give them
a one way ticket to Siberia. While I'm ready to thaw out, I'm not ready
    for tornadoes.
