Ed,
Rest In Peace, Nancy...you were such a joy to converse with.
She did try to keep the Memories Echo On Topic.
She also helped to liven things up, and she was willing to engage
in conversation with anybody.
I posted URLs for her obituary, and her graveside service in the
FIDONet MEMORIES echo, and the ILinkNet FRIENDLY TALK echo.
I enjoyed reading Her messages here and in other Echoes on some other
BBS Networks Mike subscribes to.
When she saw my tagline "I took an IQ test, and the results were negative", she replied "That explains a lot!! <g,d,r>".
Later, she said "I hope you realized I was just razzing you", and I said
"I needed the laugh". :)
Sean said Nancy did a lot of Beta Testing for Him.
I didn't know that.
I haven't done a lot of computer or BBS work lately. I'm lucky to just
do the messages. I hadn't looked at my QWK Mail in a few days, so this
packet was rather FAT -- over 1600 messages!!

Good Tagline!
Plus, it's worse if it spills in your groin...whether it's hot in
temperature or not. :P
Now that You use MM instead of OLX, I can press the [T] Key to store
Your Tagline(s) instead of having to type them in by hand when I see a GOODUN.
I wondered how to do that. Nancy had a whole slew of taglines.
One thing SLMR did that the old versions of MM I use can't do is SEARCH for a word that is in a Tagline so I can use it instead of having to scroll down/or up the Tagline listing to hunt for one I especially want
to use for a message.
I can enter new taglines, but then choose S to sort them by the first
letter. It's not as detailed as "a particular word", but it's a start.
I probably won't get MM updated real soon, tell me if MM Win can find a Tagline as well as OLX.SLMR can?
That feature, I'm not sure of...sorry.
Before I started using MM, I imported previous tagline files into the
tagline file for MM, then sorted it, and deleted the duplicates...all via Notepad.
