From Al Kaiser@1:142/926 to All on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 08:57:53
I think I screwed up on the sending of this message the first time
so here it is again. (Sorry if it is a dupe).

I saw Star Trek 31 and all I can say is where did they come up with
that crap? It had nothing to do with the Federation and nothing to
    do with Star Trek.

In fact I fell asleep half way through and didn't even bother to go
back to see how it ended.

Gene, Majel. Jimmy, Dee and Leonard all must be spinning in their
    gaves over it.

Oh man, it was so bad. Just for kicks,
though, I watched it a second time
pretending like it wasn't Star Trek. It
was just ever so slightly better. It
didn't make it good, just not AS bad.

Actualy since I have the discs I've startet to rewatch Voyager. There
were some pretty good episodes in it. Even in the first two or three
years before they got "rid" of the Kazon and also before the Kim / Nelix romance crap ended, (was nost anoying and WAY overdone), and before they
    got Seven of Nine.

Of course like all series there were some real stinkers too.

I've seen the whole series, and the one that stands out for me was, "Year of Hell", a two-parter.

Strange that this would have been brought up.

My quesion on the weekly amateur radio trivia net that participate was about the Voyager eppisode Paralax, and what they got wrong about an 'Event Horizon'.

I am not much of a Star Trek fan, nor of Sci-Fi in general.

I got the question incorrect, I was thinking of choosing the correct answer because it was similar to what Star Wars A New Hope got wrong about a parsec. Being that a parsec in a meassurment of time, not distance.

Well a few things. They had some good episodes and they had some stinkers. The made a few enemies and got involved in places that should not have, but they needed to do that for TV to make a good series.
