• mutil FileToss, auto_create and dir_prefix without an actual prefix?

    Hello g00r00!

    In mutil FileToss, if I have auto_create = true, is it possible to have it *not* to append an actual prefix to the directory and data files of the auto-created file base?

    That is, can I use something like:

    dir_prefix = /mnt/bbs/files/autocreated/

    (And should there be a trailing slash?)

    ...so that it would create /mnt/bbs/files/autocreated/EXAMPLE as the directory (File Path), and all the data files (Data File) in Mystic's data directory would be named EXAMPLE.*.

    Or does dir_prefix always require an actual prefix in it, such as:

    dir_prefix = /mnt/bbs/files/autocreated/ftoss_

    ...which would create /mnt/bbs/files/autocreated/ftoss_EXAMPLE as the directory (File Path), and ftoss_EXAMPLE.* data files (Data File) in Mystic's data directory.

    Best regards
    Bj”rn

    Have you tried it by chance? I think you can probably do exactly that. You would want to put the trailing slash on it like you have it above.

    I think I tried it before, but that was quite some time ago. I'll update my configuration and let you know if I stumble on anything suspicious. :)

    Thanks again!
