    Hello All!

    The Elist facility that creates .RPT, .NA and .NO files for FIDO named ELIST.* is available for all other networks and I am pleased to say that FSXNET has joined in.

    Although it was designed to be used with Echo areas that are moderated (or a declared area manager) this is being expanded to also provide a Full list of all echo's available by the inclusion of the entire backbone lists that do NOT require such a need of a moderator - hence will not be listed under a defined time limit.

    Currently, the ELIST files only show active moderated echos but the same data base base will also host ALL other echos not on the ELIST system so that all areas can have a one stop shop for all sysop's to use as a tool to help automation to autocreate any new echo into their system (providing their system
    supports such).

    Along with the ELIST.* files produced monthly into a archive {ELSTyymm.zip} is the same set of file extensions for each other network stored where the file name starts with the network name i.e., FSXNET.RPT, .NA and .NO if data present.


    All networks can send in their Echo area lists for inclusion to this master database by sending direct to 2:250/1 or 2:25/21 where file name or archive name starts with the network name. The name of the main origin to send that monthly archives to say in a netmail along with a password to use for session, filemgr and areafix would also be a good idea :)
