No, the January 6 insurrectionists are not being denied their "core constitutional rights." The DOJ's prosecution of their crimes is not
depriving them of their right to due process, and the conditions of their imprisonment (for those who are imprisoned; most have been released from custody pending trial) are significantly better than that afforded terrorists in the wake of 9/11.
It's really interesting how the law-and-order types who think that prisoners should be kept in the starkest conditions possible because "if you can't do
the time, don't do the crime" suddenly change their tune when it's their own comrades who are imprisoned.
