During a speech today (12/21/21), President Biden praised the Trump administration for its efforts to develop a COVID-19 vaccine, saying, "Let me be clear. Thanks to the prior administration and our scientific community, America was one of the first countries to get the vaccine. Thanks to my administration and the hard work of Americans, we led a roll out, made
America among the world leaders in getting shots in arms."

Additionally, President Biden praised Trump for getting a vaccine booster
shot, saying, "I got my booster shot as soon as they were available and just the other day former President Trump announced he had gotten his booster
    shot."

Fox News, of course, was having none of it, announcing in a chyron hours
later that "Dems refuse to credit Trump for vaccine effort." However, Fox
News does appear with this statement to be explicitly acknowledging that the vaccines are safe and effective.

Later, however, Fox News changed their story when they reported that Trump had told them, "I'm very appreciative of that. I was surprised to hear it. I think it was a terrific thing, and I think it makes a lot of people happy."

Days earlier, Trump and Bill O'Reilly announced during a joint speaking tour
in Dallas that they'd both received vaccine booster shots. This announcement was met with boos from their supporters in attendance.

The admission appeared to baffle many die-hard Trump supporters, including several Q-Anon influencers on social media. Additionally, Instagram user "Allison Wonderland" seemed particularly confused in an expletive-filled post in which she disowned Trump and then accused Trump of lying about the
vaccines' safety in order to take personal credit for their development under his administration.

These are definitely crazy times we're living in.
