trafficking and drugs. That’s doubled, tripled and quadrupled coming in, because that’s pouring in right now." -- Donald Trump, April 2021

According to Politifact:
"Human trafficking involves compelling a person into any form of labor
through the threat of violence, fraud or coercion, and for the purpose of exploitation. Transporting people over a border is not the same as human trafficking."

So we're talking about actual sex or labor trafficking, not border crossings. Large increases in sex and labor trafficking have not been observed by law enforcement agencies.

If you personally know of anyone involved in human trafficking, please report the situation to the authorities.

Drug seizure events were up 11% between when Biden took office and when Trump made this statement. 11%. Not 100%, not 200%, not 300%, not 400%. 11%.

There is no evidence to back up either claim, and Trump's office did not
reply to requests for more information.
