Participants own this echo. Not any single individual. That is
something the entity known as Mike Powell should at least try to
remember.

Anybody can claim to be "moderator" - the same as anybody can
claim to be captain of the starship Enterprise. Of course, we
all know Mike Powell is no Jean-Luc Picard. We also know he is
no James T. Kirk.

Gary Braswell was the last "moderator" of the Politics echo.
When he left he named no "moderator" to replace him.

Not that it matters.

Anybody can pretend to be "moderator".

Including Mike Powell, who loves to pretend he is King of Fido.
