Here in the US, there is going to be a trucker convey heading to Washington DC to protest something. I haven't been following very closely but I think they are protesting the President's Executive Order that would block them from coming back into the US from Canada or Mexico, unless they are vaccinated for COVID. This is important mainly to the NAFTA truckers that run US-Canada, US-Mexico, or Canada-US-Mexico and back.

The public is being asked by whomever is creating this event to bring gift cards, food, fuel etc to place they will be holing up overnight. In my area that will be MArch 5 and 6 and there are several Flying J truck plazas they will be speding the night.

I don't watch TV much. I especially don't watch the media. So I am not all that informed about what is happening with the truckers in Canada. PM Trudeau seems to be a bonehead to me, but he's not my problem so I don't think about it. To be fair, I also think the United States federal government is over run with ultra rich lying sacks of monkey pus that don't give two squirts about the American people, but that's just my opinion.

Just trying to figure out this trucker thing.

It seems to me that if you want to figure out what's going on, then a good start would be to follow it more closely. Just sayin'.
