It's also irrelevant because whether a candidate is male or female has very
little bearing on whether they're competent/incompetent.
The correlation between stability/prosperity and female heads of state is likely a case of inverted causality. Electing female heads of state didn't suddenly make them stable or prosperous, but the same qualities that make them stable/prosperous make them more likely to either accept or seek out gender/minority representation. As long as those candidates are strong candidates, that's a really good thing. If it becomes a superficial pandering tactic, then it's a bad thing.

You stated, at first, that you were not aware of previous Presidents pardoning people (of which Trump has done little of in comparison), and then altered the statement to Trump pardoning people whose guilt you did not think was "unfortunate."
As you apparently are not aware of the circumstances of any pardon but this recent one, what you should have said was, "I don't really have much of an idea about US politics, especially when it comes to pardons, but Trump makes me mad and I don't think he should have pardoned so-and-so."
