I looked at who voted in the MORE act yesterday. (Marijuana decriminalization)

    https://www.govtrack.us/congress/votes/116-2020/h235

All the Democrats voted Yea except for 1, and all the Republicans voted Nay except for 1.

If that's not puppetry, then I don't know what is.

What ever happened to asking your constituents for their input? My rep never asked us about it. He just voted "Yea" because he's a puppet for Nancy Pelosi. There's nothing Democratic about it.

By bringing this bill to a vote under a Republican controlled WH & senate, they are just pulling your Democrat strings too! If they wanted to help you guys (liberals) then they would have waited for Biden at least.

I know that the MORE act is not very important, but this should be a wake up call for anyone thinking that US reps listen or care.

The house Republicans are no different. They voted "Nay" because that's what pleases Kevin McCarthy.

I know what it's like to do things that are terrible because that's what the boss is calling for, and that's fine if you are a peeon at some corporation, but it's not fine when you were voted into office and you actually have the word "representative" in your job title.

If these sleazeballs were listening to us then we would have seen way more diversity in those votes.

That's been one of my pain points for a while now. None of my so-called representatives actually represents me or
    the area that I live.

They seem to only represent themselves or their party.

I was annoyed by it at first, but I'm actually glad that they vote for what the party wants. Legal weed is the least of my concern. I'm grateful for 99% of what our puppets+tulsi vote for :)
