Well, the one clue we have here is that "Lefties" have an infinite amount of "hypocracy." Not hypocrisy, but "hypocracy." But what is "hypocracy?" Well,
if we break it down into its roots, we have "hypo" and "cracy." "Hypo" is
from the Latin for "below, beneath, under;" and "cracy" is from the Greek for "rule, strength." So "hypocracy" literally means something like "rule from below" or "strength from beneath." This sounds very much like an idealized democracy in which *everyone* has a say in their government.

In this one case, and this one case alone, I would suggest that Ron has
finally correctly attributed something to the "Lefties."

    Jeff.

This is all just a misunderstanding.

At least, that's the impression you've given me!

There are two groups of people in this world. Those who are
pro-life and anti-death, and those who are pro-death and anti-life.
It is impossible to be both (at the same time).

From what you've said directly to me, anyone who says 'My body, my choice' is a murderer!

By definition, liberals are obliged to defend the rights of all
individuals, regardless of who those individuals are. Since life
begins at the moment of conception, that includes those tiny life
forms that inhabit the inside of a woman's body before it makes
its grand entrance into the world-at-large.

This obligation to defend the rights of individuals does not stop
when a newcomer arrives outside a woman's body, but continues until
    the moment of natural death.

Unfortunately, the state murders people in my name every time it
offs somebody - regardless of method used. This is usually done with
the approval of conservatives, who love to see folks fry, or gassed,
or shot, or put to sleep like cats and dogs, or by whatever means the
state finds necessary to make conservatives happy.

Therefore, by your own logic, that tagline makes *you* a murderer or, at the
    very least, a hypocrite...

Most residents on life row die of old age rather than murdered by
the state. You do realize those state executions make murderers of
us all, as everything the state does is in our name.

But at least I stand up to be counted, rather than sit around and
accept what the state does in my name. Quite unlike conservatives,
who pretend to dish out "justice" - even when everyone knows there
    is no justice in murder.

    So, which is it? (o_O)
Are you guilty of murder, or hypocracy?

I have a copy of a brief amicus submitted to the USSC to overturn

This is all just a misunderstanding.

"Anyone who is pro-choice, is pro-death. Anyone who is pro-death is a murderer." I understood you just fine.

Individuals can, and often do, make poor choices. Sometimes horrible
choices. That does not mean that me or anybody else has to approve of
    what they do/did.

IOW, everybody has the right to make their own choices. Even if those
choices are illegal. Such as suicide. There are actually laws making it
a crime to commit suicide. However, I do not know of anybody who has
been successfully prosecuted for having succeeded in having committed
    that awful crime.

But we are talking about abortion. And some people have been charged
with murder for having had an abortion, and are looking at doing time
in prison once convicted. Along with the medical practioners who have
performed such abortions. The state calls it "murder" - which is the
    proper charge.

There are two groups of people in this world. Those who are
pro-life and anti-death, and those who are pro-death and anti-life.
It is impossible to be both (at the same time).

False. I am pro-CHOICE, which is also a valid option. You are not, and that's your choice, which I support. How difficult it must be to see the world in only black and white, when it's all shades of grey...
    Fifty of them, apparently. (o_-)

Anthony Burgess wrote a book about this subject. And he was right.
Absolutely right. His protagonist, Alex, explained (or showed) it all
    how things work.

Perhaps you have never read his novel "A Clockwork Orange". Maybe
you have seen the film, by the same name. Alex' favorite song is
"Singing in the Rain" - as he and his buddies go from place to place
    looking for things to do.

Of course, Alex is evil. As are his buddies. Evil to the core.
And those who they meet along the way are innocent. Pure innocent.

If you knew the meaning of "a clockwork orange", then you would
understand Burgess' use of the title for his novel.

Some say Alex was "a clockwork orange". But was he? What about his
buddies, who went along with everything he did?

Nothing can be absolute good. And nothing can be absolute evil.

If God is all good, then what is the origin of evil?

You cannot be part one, and part another.
    It is an either/or proposition.

    Is that even possible?

Anthony Burgess was presenting an absurdity. Through his character
of Alex (and his friends). While this was clearly a work of fiction,
there have been people throughout history who have been presented
as caricatures of their real selves.

Adolf Hitler was presented to the German people as a saint.
And the German people viewed him as their lord and savior.

Vladimir Putin was/is presented to the Russian people as a saint.
And the Russian people view him as their lord and savior.

Both have been demonized, with nothing good said about either of them.
Other world leaders (past and present) also come to mind.

    Here's the point -

I seriously doubt anyone is totally pro-life.
I also seriously doubt anyone is totally pro-death.
The thought of either is totally preposterous, if
one stops to really think about it.

Then, so-called liberal, why are you not defending the right to choose, the literal right of free will?

Everybody has the right to choose, as that is part of one's own
free will. Whether good or bad, it is the individual's choice to
make. Not for others to make for them.

That is a matter of morals and ethics. Not necessarily the same
as what the rule of law should be.
