Thanks. I was going to post about this.

In 2016, Hillary pandered to her own audience and didn't do much of anything to appeal to
undecided and independent voters. In 2020, Trump did the same thing. Both of them lost.

Instead of learning from this mistake, the Biden administration has decided to pander to one of the
Democrat's "special interest groups," who are already on board with the agenda, and to upset any
folks who happen to view today as a religious holiday... probably their most holy one.

I think politicians are just getting dumber and dumber. Even ole Slick Willy or W would have known
not to do such a thing.

As an aside, I am wondering if someone in the administration didn't see all the memes about how
tomorrow (April 1) is Transgender Day and decided we (1) needed one that (2) wasn't on April
Fool's like the memes suggested.

What a bunch of dumbasses.

It isn't so much about disrespect, in this case, but a case of an administration being so out of touch
that they decided pissing off conservative Christians, who celebrate Easter today, by making it a
Transgender day is a good idea. They do so totally ignoring that they might also upset less
conservative Christians who might not be too happy with Trump right now and, although they may
not be offended are smart enough to see that this is a case of the administration going too far.

So instead of doing something to reach out to them, the Biden Administration does its best to push
those folks back towards Trump. Real smart, with an election approaching, to throw their flailing
opponent yet another rope.

But seriously, it's bizarre how the left calculates and segregates transgender people. The definitely seem to think that there's voter turnout potential in transgender people, and that's a ridiculous miscalculation, and even more is that they're counting on transgender votes even moreso than Christian votes. Someone in their accounting department is going to get fired.

Good point! In 2020 Trump was attending rally after rally, which made it look like he was working hard to win, but in reality he was just wasting his breath, because all those rally attendees would be voting Trump no matter what.

Biden isn't articulate enough to learn from Trump's mistake and it appears that he's making the same exact mistake. Trump's smart though. He should figure this out if he hasn't already. He needs to start finding ways to attract the never-Trumpers, and it needs to be clever.

Hey there,

my position on this is such: the topic needs to leave daily politics, the sooner the better for all who are affected.

I long for the 80'ies and 90'ies where we simply embraced the concept of tolerance. That is when the pendulum was about half its way, having come
from the one extreme end where there was oppression of everything that deviated from the Biblical norm. But today the pendulum has swung to the other extreme end where some (!) trans (-friendly) persons do not have tolerance for the normals.

The Christian view on the thing is very simple: When I think about myself
I think that God has given me a body of a certain sex and I shall always appreciate and cherish this body as given by God. However, when I think
about my next of kin, all I think is I should love and accept him or her
or [xxx] for who he or she or [xxx] is. So if my next of kin dresses fancy
or lives in a same-sex relationship or has a gender identity that does not match the sex, who am I to judge?

I also see a big problem in the fact that it is known that many men are autogynophyle, i.e. have a fetish for putting on women's clothes and/or fancying themselves as women, and some of those men are now abusing the
new trans person rights and causing all sorts of trouble. This leads to radicalization in society, and for those few who are truly and genuninely trans, this makes lives harder and not easier.

I agree with everything you said. Gender shouldn't be political, and it shouldn't be a holiday either. It's all part of the segregation equation. Pride month, women's month, black history month, latino heritage month, all that stuff does is focuses on our differences instead of our common goals.

Whoever invented the LGBTQ scam, they conflated T with LGBTQ. LGBQ pertains to sexual orientation while T pertains to gender. The left frequently conflates groups of mismatched people:

"The black and brown community." <- They want blacks and browns to think that they are equally oppressed by whites.

"Migrants." <- They want illegal migrants and lawful migrants to think that they are equally oppressed by American-born citizens.

LGBTQ <- They want people who have biological or physiological gender issues to be grouped with people who have unique sexual interests, so that way they can train them to think that they're equally oppressed by heterosexuals and/or people who conform to a binary gender.

It's 2024... Usually during an election year the Democrats tack to the center and then after the election they venture back to the left. Not Joe... He's going further left. I'm okay with it though. A long time ago, I used to go to Penguicon. It started as a geek convension, but slowly turned Woke. One year, they allocated 1/2 of the available restrooms to be for "trans people". Now, if 1/2 of the attendees were trans, that would be reasonable. But less than 1% were trans, so it made no sense.
