Hello Everybody,

Reaction to the news about Rush Limbaugh has been swift.
Especially from those who did not agree with his views.
Here is one of the nicer things a blogger by the name of
LittleGirl had to write about him -

That mf racist Piece of shit has finally been silenced. His hate
speech is fucking dead!

I blame him for all of the hate and racism and how it Ruined our
Democracy! I’ll never forgive him for how he screwed our Democracy
and split many families in the process. Mine included.

My surviving siblings have been tainted by his rhetoric for 3 freaking
decades. Their minds are poisoned forever against liberals nationwide.
We should all be raising a glass that that mf man is DEAD! Rest in Hell
Rush. I hate you.

I do not apologize for my post. I will not. The first time I heard
that rat bastard in ‘86, I knew he would destroy our country. Trump
is a product of that hate speech. I hope 45 is next!

This was one of the nicer rants I found. There are plenty more
harsher ones that are around, and very easy to find. The man was
a provocateur extroardinaire, that's for sure. And to think he
did it almost every day, for decades, in live performances
broadcast to a worldwide audience.

I wonder where he will be buried? Will there be a shrine in
his honor, where folks can visit and pay homage to his greatness?

Maybe I could set up a stand and sell coffee, and tea, and beer,
and give each person asparagus to munch on when the visit the grave
site. That way, by the time they get there, they will puke their
guts out and remember the experience forever.

Rush was a radio personality. To me, it was all schtick.
But to others, they believed every word he said as if it
was all gospel truth. To some, they hated his guts and
got very emotional about what he said on air. I posted one
of the "nicer" things written about Rush after he kicked
the bucket. Just imagine what others wrote ...

Howard Stern says idiotic things too - that's why I stopped listening to him like 20 years ago.

Getting mad about something some radio personality said is ridiculous.

Tim Russet thought so. Watched a live interview on MSNBC years
ago between him and Limbaugh. Half an hour. First ten minutes was
basic Q&A. Next twenty minutes Russet just let Limbaugh have his
say without questioning anything.

Rush Limbaugh had claimed he had lost his hearing. All of his
hearing. He also had claimed he got a cochlear implant. And could
now hear perfectly, as if he had never lost any hearing at all.
And was also planning to have a second cochlear implant so that
he could hear with both ears rather than just one.

Rush's doctor refused to be interviewed. Would not make any
comments concerning Rush's claims. Deaf people were outside the
hotel where Rush was being interviewed, saying Rush's claims
were total nonsense.

I think Rush made it all up. It is possible he lost his hearing,
or at least a good bit of it, due to his addiction to painkillers.
But getting a cochlear implant, and being to hear perfectly within
two weeks, is hogwash.

Some things you just have to take with a grain of salt. Even
a huge grain of salt.

Howard Stern says idiotic things too - that's why I stopped listening to him

Stern put a lot of time and research into what he does. He knows
his subject, and presents his material in a light that is very
entertaining. To his audience. Might not appeal to everyone, but
there are those who really enjoyed his show.
