• Trump Biden Round 1

From Lee Lofaso@2:203/2 to Aaron Thomas on Tuesday, October 06, 2020 21:44:45
    Hello Aaron,

Looking back at the first debate, it's easy to for some to blame Trump for all the interupting he did, but I don't blame him. How would that debate have gone down if Trump let Biden & Wallace run the show? Wallace was asking unplanned questions.

Chris Wallace, anchor for Fox News, was the moderator.
He chose the topics, and the questions. He said at the
outset of the debate that he did not share any of the
questions with either candidate before the debate.

Whether he favored one candidate over another may be subject
to debate among those who watched. But there is no question as
to which candidate most viewers thought conducted themselves
    more in an adult manner.

That might explain why Joe Biden is currently ahead in the polls
nationally by 16%. And with a big lead in every battleground state
    that matters.

After the debate, we were all informed that Donald Trump was sick.
He had tested positive for covid-19. His doctor informed him on
Wednesday morning, before he traveled to Minnesota for the debate.

How does that make you feel? A president, knowing he is sick,
exposing himself to others with a deadly virus, at a rally, during
a debate, and at a fundraiser? Then going to a hospital, staying
for three days, signing himself out, whipping his mask off his
face, exposing himself to others in public?

And that is not to mention the little joy ride he took before
    he signed himself out.

It is time to invoke the 25th Amendment, Section 4.

    The man is mental.

Only liberals and Democrats care about that type of statistic. Now in addition to being "not very presidential," he's also "not adult-mannered."

If "adult manner" means let other people do the interrupting, then there's no incentive to grow up.

Biden was not the one doing all of the interupting. Trump was behaving

he cannot help it. He has no incentive to grow up.

Yes, these are the things about Joe Biden that I like; the hillarious gaffes. If he somehow fooled enough weak-minded people into electing him, the gaffes will get better and better.

Joe Biden is awful for America, but excellent for Facebook memes.

    Funny you'd mention that:

Trump: Age 74, obese, has clear issues completing sentences with or without "difficult words", has the attention span of a four year old, has re-occuring issues with negotiating "difficult" obsticles like stairs or ramps without assistance.

Biden: Age 77, is in great shape as he gets regular excersice. Can speak in complete sentences and pronounce "difficult" words like "economy", "NASTA", "overdose", "neonatal" and unlike Trump actually can speak like an adult and follow a train of thought.

This is Trump talking about the Iran nuclear deal during a campaign rally i South Carolina on July 21, 2015. Try follow the train of thought here and then tell me your current president hasn't got the mental capacity of a toddler:

"Look, having nuclear ? my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, okay, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart ? you know, if you?re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, okay, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world ? it?s true! ? but when you're a conservative Republican they try ? oh, do they do a number ? that?s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune ? you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we?re a little disadvantaged ? but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me ? it would have been so easy, and it?s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right ? who would have thought?), but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners ? now it used to be three, now it?s four ? but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven?t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it?s gonna take them about another 150 years ? but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us."

    I rest my case.

It sounds like Trump was having a rough day! I've never seen him falter. I have a low attention span. I'm the guy you're saying Trump is. Because when I see Trump answering questions, I'm impressed. He's the first president that I can follow what he says, and I don't get bored with his speeches.

If he did bad on that campaign event in South Carolina, that had to be an isolated incident.

Aaron - this is virtually every speech or statement he makes. He never finishes a sentance, he breaks out into tangents that never go anywhere and just goes round and round and round. If his speech pattern matches his train of thought then Trump is a very, very troubled man.

    I rest my case.

"We gotta...it's, just, but... you gotta... I mean...the...tee... we gotta 'gree-issue'... look, heh, my, my message to everybody I talk to..." -- Joe Biden, MSNBC "Morning Joe" interview earlier this year.

"We hold these truths to be self evident. All men and women created by
the, go, you know, you know, the thing." Joe Biden, campaign rally,
    3/2/2020.

"You know the rapidly rising, uh, um, uh, in with, uh, with uh, I don't
know, uh..." Joe Biden, C-SPAN, June, 2020, apparently speaking about
    COVID.

"The problem is, those countries like Africa and Asia, those places, they're the
reason why we have all these problems." Joe, at a Primary campaign stop
in Iowa, circa March, 2020. (Because we all know Africa and Asia are homogeneous *countries* and not diverse continents).

"Unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things." Joe Biden, interview hosted by National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the National Association of Black Journalists, early August.

"We can build a new administration that reflects the full diversity of our nation. The full diversity of the Latino communities. Now, when I mean
full diversity, unlike (the) African American community, many other communities, you're from everywhere." -- Joe Biden, virtual National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials conference, shortly
after his campaign attempted to backtrack the previous comment above.

"I am, um, I am very willing to let the American public judge my physical and mental fill... my physical as well as my mental fill... fitness...", CBS interview, 8/5, where he also asked the interviewer "Are you a junkie?"

My personal favorite is from back in 1988 when he was running for President.
He claimed to graduate at the top of his law class, and that he got top marks in Political Science. Back then the news media did their due diligence. He actually graduated at the bottom of his class, and got an "F" (lowest grade possible) in the class in question.

He had to drop out of the race in 1988 for that. You can find it on YouTube, if you are interested. I doubt you are.

Please. Do not give Duke any ideas. He did run for president before.
I met that idiot. On more than one occasion. He is a good speaker, and
knows exactly how far he can go without getting himself punched, or
    worse.

First time I saw him speak was back in 1975. At LSU. On the front
steps of the LSU Student Union. He stood there, in full nazi garb,
megaphone in hand, in broad daylight, expelling his racist garbage.
Several black students wanted to do him in, but were stopped by me
and others. Had to remind them it is what he wanted.

There is video of it. Edwin Edwards had a field day showing it
on television when he and Duke were in a runoff for governor.
