Hello Everybody,

Trump chickens out of debate scheduled for next week.
Why? Because he is scared of losing. Again. And everybody
knows how much he hates losing.

On Thursday morning, the Commission on Presidential Debates
announced the next scheduled debate would be made virtual in
order to "protect the health and safety of all involved" -
which did not settle well with Trump. So Trump to have his
say, by telling the world he was chicken.

Well, you can't have a debate with one candidate. That would
not be legal, as the Chairman of the CPD, Frank Fahrenkopf,
explained -

"No, we wouldn't havve it. You can't do that under the federal
election laws and FEC rules. YOu've got to balance. You couldn't
have one person going through the debate and the other one not.
That wouldn't be a debate under the law." ~Frank Fahrenkopf

That's right. Trump chickened out. Squawk! Squawk!

"The ball's in his court. It's his call. We have to take

I can see the Biden campaign staffers plucking feathers as
their favorite candidate makes his way around the country.

Of course, there is no "law or requirment" that presidential
candidates show up for a debate. They do so at their own peril.
But those who refuse to play usually pay a price. A very high
price. As Jimmy Carter found out in 1980. But that's another
story.

My, my. Those nasty Democrats must have it in for Trump.
Especially that Fahrenkopf guy. No. Can't be. He was chairman
of the Republican National Committee from 1983 to 1989.

Kind of bad when both the Democrats and the Republicans
have it in for you. No wonder Trump chickened out.

So much for Miami. Florida probably a lost cause for him
anyway, as Biden is ahead by 11 points.

But hey. There is always the October 22nd event coming up,
as the commission is still planning that one as in-person event,
even if Donald Trump decides to skip it.

Donald Trump is no debater, he's a showman. He doesn't want a debate, he wants to stir up his base since that is how he won the electoral college in

There are not enough people left in his "base" in order for him
to win a second term.

He has a tendency to say one thing and do another, so that could change.

The man is a loser. He cannot change who is and always has been.
He chickened out of the second scheduled debate because he did so
poorly in the first debate. He was dropping in the polls before
he got sick, so using his sickness as an excuse doesn't wash.

Face it, his campaign is crashing. Like a rock in freefall.
Only question that remains is how many of his minions fall with
him.

He still has time to change his mind. The door is still open
for him. Or he can continue to make himself look like the loser
he is, and always has been. Up to him.
