• Pfizer vaccine: shot 1, day 2

From Jeff Thiele@1:387/26 to All on Thursday, April 01, 2021 08:45:41
My arm is a little sore where the injection was administered, but it's not
bad at all. I'm a little tired, but I'm going to attribute that to getting up at 5am yesterday to spend 7 hours driving to the coast to get vaccinated.

My next shot has been scheduled, three weeks (to the minute!) after my first, at the same location. So it looks like we'll be making that trip again.

Still doing well, but feeling a little tired. Also, my dog has an ear infection, which I'm pretty sure is unrelated. We went to the vet and got
    some ear medication.

    Good luck.

I'm not interested in the product. I'm not a fan of Phizer, J&J, Moderna,
    products.

Why should anyone have to wait in lines for this ?

And why would one limit 'vaccine' to injections?

I want to borrow a 4D BioPrinter so I can just print a bunch of them for
those who want them. No waiting in lines.
    s

here are also nasal spray deliveries, etc subdermal patches, .etc

There wasn't really a line when we went. We were given a time to be there and were seen. I've heard of others waiting in lines, though.

And why would one limit 'vaccine' to injections?

We don't have to, but that's what's available right now. Perhaps in the
future other delivery methods will be available. I have a small problem with needles, but it doesn't apply to most vaccines. I don't really mind
injections in muscle or fat tissue, but I absolutely do not like needles in
my veins, whether it's delivering or drawing.

I want to borrow a 4D BioPrinter so I can just print a bunch of them for those who want them. No waiting in lines.

That would be helpful, but how would you prevent lines (physical, virtual, or otehrwise)? Would you print enough for everyone before you offered them to anyone? How would you distribute them such that there were no lines?

Still doing well, and haven't died or even gotten sick yet. With daily
cleaning and medication, the dog's ear infection is getting better.

Still kicking after 21 days, no adverse effects. I'm going today to get my second dose. From what I hear, the second is more likely to kick one's butt than the first.

Well, I'm back. It was a four-hour drive back, which went well, but now I'm starting to get a fever. On our particular thermometer, I usually register ~96/97, but now I'm up to 99.8. It's going to be a fun night. Fortunately,
    I'm off through Sunday.

night and a headache this morning, but am feeling fine now except for a slightly sore arm. I hope that's all there is to it.

    You done it wrong.
    All wrong.
Health care professionals (not amateurs) have said it.
You really have done it all wrong.
You are supposed to get the shots in your dominant arm.
And I am betting a dollar to a donut you done it all wrong.
You see, if you get yourself shot in your non-dominant arm,
all the vaccine will stay in the same place and never make
    its way into your bloodstream.
What that means is all that soreness in your arm will be
all for nothing, and as such you will never be fully protected.
That is what you get for not reading the fine print.
Or from not asking the nurse which arm to use.
    And she is not psychic.
But hey. That's okay. Not asking still left you with a 50/50 chance.
    So maybe you got lucky.
    Or maybe not ...
