    Hello Jimmy,

Please, give me a chance to defend my position! I welcome it!

You have no defensible position. Why not? Because there is no >LL>defensible position.

Wow. So 'debate' is not a debate? I personally respect your disenting
opinion and am happy to hear your defenses. But I have noo defensible >position?

    That's right. Guns are evil.

As for pro-life - but sounds like pro-murder?

You claim to be pro death penalty, which is anti-life.
Which means you are not pro-life.

    Not in the least!

Being pro death penalty means one wants somebody dead.
That is not a pro-life position.

Really? Being in favor of offing even one person is anti-life.
That includes persons on life row.

If someone comes at me or my family with the intent to kill me, I have the >>right to defend myself.

People on life row are a threat to no one.

I assume you mean death row?

There is no such thing as death row.
The men and women are alive, which makes it life row.

    Those awaiting execution?

Those on life row want to live, not die. Being whole life,
I am opposed to execution, in all its various forms.

I'm not expecting to have to defend myself against them, so I won't be in a
position to have to defend myself against them.

Then why not support their right to life? That would be a whole life
    position, not just pro-life.

As for supporting capitol punishment, I don't consider that pro-murder.

Supporting capital punishment means supporting the state's
right to murder in your name. Which is totally contradictory
to your own claim of being pro-life.

If you do, then we have to agree to disagree.

The state says it has the right to murder in my name.
My position is the state has no such right.

But I'm happy to hear your defenses to your position.

I am sorely disappointed you do not understand the state's
position, as the state's position is far from pro-life.

It is not murder if I use deadly force to stop an attack, so that does not
    contridict my pro-life stance.

Protecting yourself and your family is an individual act.
Not an act of war, but an act of self-defense. No one should
be condemned for such acts of self-preservation.

As for those who have committed criminal acts (such as murder),
we have prisons to keep society safe. Nothing more is needed, or
necessary. Since the death penalty is not needed, it should be
    eliminated.

No person on life row will ever attack you. So that is no excuse.
    Wanna try again?

    See above.

Protecting yourself against those who pose no threat to you or to
    others is murder.

When I say pro-life, I mean ALL life,

You claim to be pro-death, especially in regards to imposing
the death penalty on those who have been convicted of certain
crimes. Which means you are not pro-life at all.

I understand what you are saying. I don't agree, but that's okay.

    Murder is never okay.

LOL - as are hammers, knives, cars, fists, etc. Right? Anything
that can be a tool for one use but something that takes a life
    with another?

So what makes an inanimate object evil? Calling it a gun? Or some
    other criteria?

Those on life row want to live, not die. Being whole life,
I am opposed to execution, in all its various forms.

And I respect that opinion. I don't agree with it, but that's my
    right as well.

It depends. If you can defend yourself with it, it's "evil".

I wonder when they will be outlawing all those assult baseball bats.

Good question! Maybe they'll require a background check before you
are allowed to join a baseball team?
