They've attempted to get them as weapons of mass environmental destruction,
but not as the assault weapons folks around the World have proven them to
be.

Ironically, many of the people I know who are either likely to be gun
control freaks and/or self-proclaimed "environmentalists" drive big SUVs.
They "need" them 'cause, you know, kids, but other people should have them.
