The Supreme Court of New York Appellate Division has suspended Rudy Giuliani from practicing law in New York, pending completion of an investigation.
The court found that "there is uncontroverted evidence that respondent communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public at large in his capacity as lawyer for former President Donald J. Trump and the Trump campaign in connection with Trump's
failed effort at reelection in 2020."
Rudy lied to you.
Rudy lied to you about the election being stolen.
Rudy, acting on behalf of his client Donald Trump, lied to you about the election being stolen.
The Supreme Court of New York Appellate Division has suspended Rudy Giuliani from practicing law in New York, pending completion of an investigation.Has he been disbarred? Or merely suspended? And specific only
to New York?
Keep in mind, his former client is no longer POTUS. And is also
no longer a resident of New York. So does it really matter if Rudy
can or cannot practice law in New York?
Violating a code of ethics is not the same thing as defending the
POTUS (or former POTUS) in a court of law. But he is bound by a code
of ethics in everything he does in his capacity as lawyer.
