Hammer-thrower Gwen Berry qualified for the US Olympic team on Saturday, but turned her back on the flag as the anthem played to protest systemic racism.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R) has stated that she should not be allowed on the
Olympic team due to her "unpatriotic" behavior.

    Here we go again.

Someone is protesting systemic racism in the US. No one was injured, no one
was killed, no property was damaged or destroyed. And instead of listening to her reasons for why she did it, some people are preferring to ignore that and claim that she is "unpatriotic."

Previously some of you have said that you would listen to protestors'
concerns only if they stopped being violent. This was a non-violent protest.

    Will you listen this time?

Or will it take things getting violent again before they get your attention?

    Jeff.

She finished third, IIRC. They should send the young lady who finished
    first, and broke a record.

There are multiple spots on the team. The first-place winner also qualified.
