NY governor Andrew Cuomo's last day in office is coming soon. He'll either resign in disgrace, like most Democrat NY governors do, or he "might have to
    be removed militarily."

He'll be impeached and removed from office by the Assembly,

I like how he tried to use hugs of Bill Clinton and Joe Biden as examples
of how he is with "everyone." I am convinced that it is quite possible he really believes he did nothing wrong and has no idea that his actions in

We had this sort of thing happen to us here in Louisiana.
Governor Huey P. Long was impeached, and then put on trial
in the Senate for his alleged crimes. Of course, the Senate
sprang him and he continued his term in office, which he
used to get rid of those who put him on trial. And then he
decided to run for the US Senate, even though he was not
old enough to hold office. On his birthday he was sworn in
as US Senator, and his second in command OK Allen became
Governor of Louisiana (who did everything Huey Long told him
to do). Once he had everything in place, it was time for
Huey Long to take aim at FDR. But a mad doctor decided to
put an end to that by shooting Huey P. Long's penis off
after boffing his daughter. Okay, medical reports say only
half of his penis was missing. Meanwhile, the bullet holes
of shots fired at his assailant remain embedded in the marble
    wall of the state capital.

The FBI refused to investigate the incident claiming it was
a state issue. And FDR remained POTUS for another 10 years.

Andrew Cuomo will not be running for anything next year.
However, the incoming governor has publicly stated she will
definitely be running for governor in 2022, regardless of
whoever else decides to throw their hat in the ring.

Needs 2 more weeks to get it done?

    Nah. She ain't perty enough.

    Probably!

He puts the state's attorney general in the same category

    Hello Aaron,

in the first place. Why we stayed there for twenty years is beyond
me. Same goes for Vietnam. The French told us to stay out. But did
    we listen? Noooo ....

    Bush destroyed the Taliban's Afghanistan,

GWB allowed Osama bin Laden & Co. to escape into Pakistan.
It was President Barack Obama who brought justice to that SOB.

now Biden gave Afghanistan back to the Taliban.

Afghanistan has always been Afghanistan. Ruled by no one.
Kind of a no man's land, with warlords guarding their own turf.
All GWB managed to do was to instill a puppet regime in Kabul
which had very little control over the rest of the country.

He basically said that 9/11 was no big deal and that we're sorry
for not letting them enslave the Afghan people sooner.

The Taliban had nothing to do with the events of 9/11.
So why did GWB decide to invade the their country? GWB
called it a "war on terror", as if there can ever be
a war on a verb. That was no reason, but rather an
excuse. And a very sorry one at that.

It is the USA that chose to invade Afghanistan, and stay
there, for twenty years. For no apparent reason that just
to do it. What good do you think this did for the people
of Afghanistan? The Taliban is still there. The Taliban
is still doing the same things it did before we invaded
that piece of real estate. How many American lives did
it cost us to accomplish nothing?

Do you think the USA has the right to invade a country
just because it does not like the way it says the leadership
of that country treats its own people? Who are we to decide
what other peoples of the world want, or should want?

We invaded Afghanistan, and chose to remain there for
twenty years. The people of that country did not ask us
to do that. And the people of that country clearly do
not want us to stay there.

So now President Biden is doing what should have been
done long ago. We are leaving. Allowing the people of
Afghanistann to choose for themselves exactly the kind
of government they want and truly deserve.

It was President Barack Obama who brought justice to that SOB.

There's no proof that bin Laden is dead.

The remains of Osama bin Laden have been placed in a secret
and secure location, all thanks to Navy SEAL Team Six ...

But if you want proof of Sadaam Hussein's death, then we've got his dental records to back it up.

After the martyr known as Saddam Hussein (PBUH) was hanged by
a Shiite hit squad, his head was re-attached to his body and buried
in a public place of worship for all his followers to visit.

that piece of real estate. How many American lives did
it cost us to accomplish nothing?

They had a government, they had elections, they had a president.

We invaded Afghanistan, the Taliban was still there.
They had their own elections, and their own president.
We left Afghanistan, the Taliban is still there.
That's right. The people of Afghanistan now have the
same the same government, elections, and president as
they had before. So what did we accomplish?

    Women had rights.

Women now have the same rights as they had before.
    So what's your problem?

The Joe Biden Destruction of Afghanistan is bad for the Afghan people
    and bad for neighboring countries.

Hey, bud. Afghanistan is not our country. We have no right to tell
other people how to conduct their business. It is up to them to decide
what they want to do. We are not the world's policeman. Nor should
    we be.

It's also bad for the US & UN troops who will attempt to clean up this mess.

What mess? It is the choice of the people of Afghanistan to run
their own affairs as they see fit. If what they want is an Islamic
State, that is what they deserve. Which is exactly what they have.

Do you believe the US should invade Iran just because we do not
approve of Iran's theocratic form of government? Remember, none of
the ayatollahs called for a holy war against the USA (although
many of them did chant "Death to the Great Satan").

Do you believe the US should invade Israel just because we do not
approve of Israel's theocratic form of government? What great friends
they were to those who were on deck of the USS Liberty, on the same
day they chose to invade the Golan Heights.

Do you believe the US should invade Vatican City just because not
everybody believes the Pope is the Vicar of Christ?

We are not the holy people you might want to believe. Far from it.
We have absolutely no right to infringe our views on others, or to
tell others what to do, much less force others to do our will.

Should we destabilize Iraq too, while we're at it?

After failing to catch OBL & Co, that is exactly what GWB did.
He borrowed the funds from future generations to pay for his wars,
and then a later president (Trump) tied the hands of our military
to be able to defend themselves against those who are now in
    charge of Afghanistan.
