• Hochul: More of the same

Despite any optimism that might make NYers think that the new governor is any better than the last, the first big change she implemented started Friday with her "Less is more" act.

The bill gives parolees the right to violate the conditions of their parole.

Andrew Cuomo was talking about doing it before he left office, so I guess Gov Hochul will be finishing up any/all despicable plans that the beloved Cuomo left behind when he resigned.

The signing of the bill led to the release of 191 parolees who were in jail at Riker's Island, for parole violations.

Proponents say "They aren't releasing violent offenders from jail," but they are using twisted leftie logic when they say that, because violating parole isn't a violent crime, but whatever crimes they committed to become parolees vary; some are violent as can be, some are not.

On the bright side, we probably don't have to pay the salaries of parole officers anymore, since their jobs are obsolete.

Congratulations to all of NY's parolees! This will be a wonderful weekend for them all!
