  • downloading new version

    Hi all

    Not sure if I'm missing something obvious.

    When I try to use
    htget http://www.rgbbs.info/files/RGV133U.ZIP

    I get an html file that says 301 Moved Permanently

    I thought I had used htget before to grab v130.

    Stupid Virus detection on NFU inside NetFoss. You can telnet over here and logon as "RENEGADE", PW: "RENEGADE" (without the quotes) and grab it. Otherwise turn off your virus detection .... Advast did that to me ... I couldn't figure out why I could download it from firefox on the bbs
    computer, but not my wife's.

    I'm waiting for our resident Professor posting from a Synchronet board to now lecture you on compiling Renegade's code in a way to avoid false positives as if (A) You never thought of this already and (B) Its never ever a false positive from the scanner, ever, never in a bazillion years.

    I remember getting quite the attitude from a certain major "star" system
    when I published a version of D'Bridge that included a DLL for a silly Windows component that caused that persons stupid "ClamAV" scanner to have a meltdown.

    HAHAHHAH ... Funny part is, it's no RG, it's NFU.COM inside the NetFOSS archive that causes it.

    But Yeah, I was waiting too.
