    Just found out that Mike has passed.

    Thanks Mike for the amazing times in the early 90s on my 14" VGA and even in 2021 when you fixed some bulletin bugs and sent me updated spitfire.exe and spitfire.ovr files.

    Sadly, no. Not even a "freeware" version of SF.

    Sadly, no. Not even a "freeware" version of SF.

    That's unfortunate. I ran Spitfire for a short time back
    in the '90s; I rather liked it. I'd have liked to see it
    live on, but without source code, that seems impossible.
