    They are outdated. But then, so is BBSing, aint it? :-)

    I have no plans to remove them. Maybe add more some day. <shrug>

    I didn't. We have at least 2 copies of fTelnet in the sbbs repo, possibly more.

    I removed it because it hadn't been used in a decade (probably longer) - fTelnet had replaced it long ago.

    You're comparing the removal of a Java telnet app that was just consuming disk space (1.3MB) with no way for a user to invoke it, with tone files (exec/*.ton) that total about 18KB *and* can be (and are) invoked as sysop chat pagers? I don't see the logic of reasoning there.
